How do I get my UserID and Password
You BCA Online Access details (UserID and Password) are emailed to the subscription contact when the order or renewal has been processed. For security reasons new access details are issued every time you purchase or renew a subscription.
I already gave a Username and Password when I ordered online.
The Username and Password you entered into the ABCB online shopping cart is so that the next time you visit the online shopping cart, you can login and the shopping cart will automatically retrieve your details.
The UserID and Password to login to the BCA Online is generated by our system and emailed to the subscription contact.

Login Failed It is not possible to log you in to the Building Code of Australia (BCA) subscriber's area as you have either entered an incorrect username/password or have tried to access this area without logging in first. Click Here to be taken to the login page to try again. |
Login Failed Error Message Explanation
- your UserID or Password have been enter incorrectly
- you have tried to access the BCA Online without logging in first.
- you are an existing subscriber to the BCA + Standards product suite you need to go to http://bca.sai-global.com
Subscription Licence Count Exceeded Error Message
You may receive an error message that indicates that you have exceeded your subscription licence count. A copy of this message appears below.

Login Failed - Subscription Licence Count Exceeded All available licences for this subscription are being used. Please wait until a licence becomes available. Remember to logout when you have finished using the BCA as this releases the licence. Otherwise you may need to wait approx 20 minutes before the licence is released. Please note that the area you are attempting to access is for current subscribers of the BCA. Subscription Licence Count Exceeded Message Explanation
- all available licences for your subscription are being used, you will have to wait until a licence becomes available
- you closed the browser without first logging out of the BCA Online. You may need to wait approx 20 minutes before the licence is released by our system.
Browser Settings Tips and Hints
If you have retrieved your password or know that your password is correct and you still can not login, then your browser security settings may need to be changed to work with our system.
Internet Explorer
- Open Internet Explorer
- In the browsers top menu bar, click Tools then Internet Options
- This will open the Internet Options window (Below)
- Click on the Security tab (number 1 circled above)
- Make sure that the Internet zone (number 2 circled above) is selected
- Next click on the Custom Level button (number 3 circled above)
- This will open Security Settings window (Below)
- Check to make sure that the Reset to: option is set Medium (number 1 circled above)
- Next click the Reset button (number 2 circled above)
- This will open a confirmation window (Below)
- Click the Yes button (circled below)
- To finish click OK, then OK again
