Fire Safety (Sprinklers) In Buildings Accommodating Aged Persons


  • A review of the fire safety provisions in buildings used to accommodate aged persons to determine whether sprinkler protection is required.

The aim of this activity is to review the deemed-to-satisfy provisions relating to buildings used by people in aged care to determine if the level of fire safety provisions provided is appropriate and to determine whether sprinkler protection is required.

A Consultation paper to be considered by the BCC and Board using regulatory review principles.
